It’s a nice song, with coherent simple lyrics, tight clear backing track, distinctive melody and unison vocal. The piano from George Martin makes the bridge stand out a little. It’s a classical-sounding part that adds a bit of drama. It’s telling that already, the earliest Beatles originals – even the less strong album tracks – are classics that compare very well to contemporary pop and RnB hits from the USA.
