A symptom of the way, by 1968, they were increasingly working independently of one another and producer George Martin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To create something really good you cannot afford to censor your ideas before they take shape. Normally the band and their producer worked together, amazingly quickly, to select and shape the very best of their ideas, often improving them beyond recognition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
That didn’t happen with Wild Honey Pie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While Wild Honey Pie was Paul McCartney\u2019s independent work, the next track (my second least favourite – according to the algorithm), was largely John Lennon\u2019s\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
